What Rosie is
Rosie is a strong message-taker at a low price, not a dispatcher. It's built for small businesses of every kind. Rosie has pages for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction and home services, right next to its pages for accountants, law firms and real estate offices. It says more than 2,000 businesses use it.
Here's how it works. You forward your number. Rosie answers 24/7, uses your website and Google Business Profile to answer questions, takes the message, and texts and emails you every call.
You pay for included minutes, not per call. Go past your minutes and Rosie moves you up to the next plan. There's no per-minute overage, so a busy month costs you a plan upgrade, not a surprise bill.
Plans and limits (checked October 19, 2026)
| Professional | Scale | Growth | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $49/mo | $149/mo | $299/mo |
| Minutes included | 250 | 1,000 | 2,000 |
| Message scenarios | 2 | 5 | Unlimited |
| Booking | Texts callers a booking link | Books on your calendar (Google, Calendly, Acuity, Appointlet) | Same as Scale |
| Transfers to a person | Not included | Cold and warm (Rosie briefs your team first) | + waterfall (tries up to five numbers in order) |
| Texts to callers during the call | No | Yes | Yes |
| Extras | Spam detection, website chat widget | Same as Professional | Custom training documents, white-glove onboarding, priority support |
On every plan: 24/7 answering, several calls at once, English and Spanish, call summaries, transcripts and recordings (recordings delete after 30 days), email and text alerts for every call, iOS and Android apps, Zapier, and the CRM integrations below. Annual billing gives two months free. Add-on: Website Texting is $50 a month for 25 conversations, then $1 per extra conversation. Enterprise pricing is quoted.
What your month costs

|---|---|---|---|
| 60 (nights & weekends only) | ≈180 | Professional | $49 |
| 150 | ≈450 | Scale | $149 |
| 300 | ≈900 | Scale | $149 |

| 900 | ≈2,700 | Over Growth’s 2,000 minutes | Ask Rosie for a custom-volume plan |
Size the plan for your busiest month, not your average one.
Rosie moves you up a plan automatically when you go over, and you stay there until you switch back yourself. Rosie says it emails you as you get close to your limit. Downgrades only take effect at your next billing cycle. (One older help article, from January 2025, still mentions minute overage charges; the current pricing page says there are none.)
How it handles calls
Rosie takes good messages on every plan, but it routes calls to people only on Scale and Growth.
- Setup: Rosie reads your website and Google Business Profile, then you check the details and add FAQs. Rosie says setup can take as little as 10 minutes.
- Messages: by default it takes the caller's name, phone number and reason for calling. Message scenarios let you add questions per call type, such as the service address and whether water is still leaking.
- Alerts: every call reaches you by email and/or text with a summary, plus the recording and transcript in the app.
- Transfers (Scale and up): you set who handles what, at which number and during which hours. A warm transfer puts the caller on hold, tells your person who's calling and why, and connects them only if they say yes. If voicemail answers, Rosie goes back and takes a message. It makes one transfer attempt per call. Save Rosie's outbound number in your phone, or Silence Unknown Callers may send it to voicemail.
- Emergencies: there's no built-in trade triage. Rosie's HVAC page says it "can't dispatch technicians directly"; it can tell callers about your emergency service and alert you. To get urgent calls to an on-call tech during the call, set up an emergency transfer scenario on Scale or Growth.
- Spanish: English and Spanish on every call, on every plan.
- Spam: automatic spam detection on every plan.
Integrations
The field-service integrations are a real plus at this price. They log calls; they don't book jobs. Rosie's help center lists direct integrations, included on every plan, with field-service tools Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceM8, Workiz, JobNimbus, Kickserv, JobTread and RepairShopr, plus sales CRMs such as HubSpot and GoHighLevel. You can connect one CRM per account. With Jobber (any Jobber plan), each call, text and chat becomes a note on the right client, and new callers become clients with Rosie as the lead source. With Housecall Pro (it needs Housecall Pro's MAX plan for the API key), new callers land in your Job Inbox as leads. Neither integration books jobs onto your schedule; booking goes through your connected calendar. ServiceTitan isn't on the list. Zapier connects other tools. (Rosie's pricing FAQ still says direct CRM integrations are in the works, but the help center guides were updated in the past few weeks.)
Phone systems it works with
Setup is simple: you keep your number and forward it. Forward all calls, or only when you're busy, don't answer or are unreachable. Rosie's forwarding guide covers mobile carriers, landline providers and VoIP services such as RingCentral, Grasshopper, Google Voice and OpenPhone. On an iPhone, turn off Live Voicemail or it can catch calls before they forward. Rosie only issues US phone numbers.
Trial, billing and cancellation
No contract, but there's real friction: you need a card for the trial, and there are no refunds. Set a reminder for day 6.
- Trial: 7 days with every feature. A card is needed: the Terms say free-trial service requires "a valid payment method," and the signup app asks for a card to "activate your free trial and allow external calls." The first charge comes at the end of the trial.
- Billing: monthly or annual (two months free). No contract and no cancellation fee.
- Refunds: the Terms say payments are non-refundable, with no credit for partly used periods.
- Cancel: in the admin, under Account → Billing → Manage Billing (a Stripe portal). Access runs to the end of the billing period.
- Before you cancel: turn off call forwarding on your phone. Forwarding is set on your phone line, not in Rosie. One App Store reviewer said callers heard a subscription error after the trial was cancelled.
- Support: email ([email protected]) and chat in the admin. No support hours or response time are published. Growth adds faster replies and a setup specialist.
Who should buy it, and who should skip it
Pros (from vendor info)
- $49 entry with 250 minutes and 24/7 answering
- English and Spanish on every plan
- Calls logged into Jobber, Housecall Pro and other field-service tools at no extra cost
- Warm transfers brief your team before connecting (Scale and up)
- No per-minute overage; plan prices published
- Mobile apps for iOS and Android
Cons / watch-outs
- No built-in emergency triage; live transfers need the $149 plan
- A busy month moves you up a plan automatically
- Integrations log calls but don't book jobs in Jobber or Housecall Pro
- 7-day trial needs a card, and payments are non-refundable
- No independent user reviews on G2, Capterra or Trustpilot yet
- A general small-business tool, not built only for the trades
Buy it if you're a solo owner or small crew and your problem is missed calls, not missed emergencies. It fits if you need Spanish, or if you want every call in Jobber or Housecall Pro without retyping it. On Professional, $49 gets you 250 minutes of 24/7 answering in both languages.
Skip it if you need emergencies to reach a tech live on the $49 plan (see OnCrew, which includes live transfers from $49, or Wakeman, which rings your on-call phone during dangerous calls), you want jobs booked onto your Jobber schedule, or you'd rather try a tool without entering a card.
Alternatives
| Tool | From | Why consider it |

| Wakeman | $149/mo | Rings your on-call phone during dangerous calls; books into Jobber |
| Jobholler | $85/mo | Flat price regardless of call length |
| Jobber Receptionist | $29/mo add-on | If you already run Jobber and want booking on your Jobber schedule |
| OrangeChat | $49/mo | Calls plus SMS replies, web chat and a built-in CRM |
FAQ
How much does Rosie cost?
Professional $49/mo (250 minutes), Scale $149/mo (1,000 minutes), Growth $299/mo (2,000 minutes). Annual billing gives two months free. Checked October 19, 2026.
Does Rosie charge for extra minutes?
Not per minute. If you go past your plan's minutes, Rosie moves you up to the next plan at its normal price, and you can move back down from the admin.
Does Rosie speak Spanish?
Yes. English and Spanish are included on every call on every plan.
How long is the free trial, and do I need a card?
7 days with every feature. Rosie's Terms and signup screens require a card to take real calls during the trial, and the first charge comes when the trial ends.
Does Rosie work with Jobber or Housecall Pro?
Yes, on every Rosie plan. It logs calls, texts and chats and creates new callers as clients (Jobber) or Job Inbox leads (Housecall Pro, MAX plan needed). It doesn't book jobs onto either schedule; booking goes through Google Calendar, Calendly, Acuity or Appointlet on Scale and up.
Can Rosie handle emergency calls?
It answers them and alerts you, and on Scale or Growth you can set up a transfer so urgent callers reach a person during the call. It has no built-in trade triage, and Rosie's HVAC page says it can't dispatch technicians directly.
Have you tested Rosie?
Not yet. This review and its score are based on Rosie's published pricing, industry pages, Terms and help center (checked October 19, 2026).
